  3. Bailey, I really missed you on our Ohibobs journey. It was right up your alley. A place where I think you would have shined.
I'm also missing your second blog entry here where you describe the members of your crew, what their talents are and what they hope to discover as they head west. It needs to be done by Monday night so we can proceed west.

  4. Bailey, your keelboat was stellar. Off the charts. The coming together of classwork and personal passion.

Your day to day, week to week work was much more spotty. Your final was non-existent. Can't put just windows on a house. There's got to be a frame, walls, plumbing, electricity, a roof. With such incredible windows (your keelboat), I hate to give you a low grade, but for your future I must. When a teacher gives you the opportunity to shine in a final, best take him or her up on the chance. Others around you certainly will, and like it or not, you will be compared and graded in light of their work. Check out Nick or Amanda's finals:

They did the day to day . . . the occasional show stopper presentations . . . and the final.

Bailey, Lewis and Clark would have loved and used you. Keep working hard. Find ways to bring your passions to your classroom and your work. Have a great summer. Hope to see you in the fall.

    Love,

    (Captain) John
